Genus/Species: Capsicum chinense
Origin: From the Amazon rainforest regions of Peru, particularly in Loreto and Ucayali. Charapita are a natural landrace of Capsicum Chinense. In Europe, Erich Stekovics popularized the pepper around 2016, growing it from a few seeds obtained from a Mexican archive, but he is not the creator or genetic breeder, the plant itself is a traditional Peruvian cultivar. This White Charapita Cross is an unknown cross found by Patrick Blasco in Bringer of the Burning Berry’s grow. There are 3 variants of this cross, the chocolate, the mustard and the white. Each with distinctive flavors and heat levels.
